So one thing that has made me happy this week is a day out with my Munchkin. We started out with a trip to Kindergym, in which Master A had a ball on the trampoline, among other things.
We then headed to the National Railway Museum for A Day Out with Thomas. Although Master A was a little too young for most of the day, he loved going for a ride on Thomas the Tank Engine, and although this picture doesn't show the smile that was plastered on his face most of the day, it was great to see him have so much fun.
Spending a day out with my little Munchkin and friends has been great, especially when winter makes it harder to get out of the house and actually do things outdoors. So even with a nap-deprived toddler this day was perfect, and a great excuse to enjoy winter!

My boys had a ball at Thomas too such a cute idea for kiddies.

It was great wasn't it? A little bit of a waste of money for me as Master A was just too young to appreciate anything but the train ride but it was worth it for a different day out.

That's where Mr almost 4 wants to go for his birthday instead of having a party :)

Sometimes just getting out whereever that might be is enough.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is, especially in winter when you're stuck inside so much!
