I am good at different things, but birthday parties really aren't a part of my range of skills. However, I managed to pull off a very basic party at our local playground.
A beautiful sunny afternoon in the middle of a rainy weekend, my awesome friends and family, and the help of my Mum and Mr M meant that we had a fun, relaxing day. Here are just a few photos:

That sounds like the perfect sort of party to me!
ReplyDeleteIt was great, relaxing and fun. Though I think from now on I'll do them at home, I forgot way too much!

What a beautiful sunny day you had!! Love the layered jelly - is this hard to do? I have always wanted to try it x
ReplyDeleteI know I was ready to cancel the night before with all the rain we had! My Mum made the "traffic light" jellies, but I think you just have to do one layer at time and let each layer set before you put the next layer on. She made them over a period of 2 days. They look great don't they?

Looks like a great day for everyone ! welcome to the terrific twos!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was a great day, and of course it was straight back to my house so Mr M could watch the grand final with my parents!

It looks like everyone at the party had a great time. What more would a 2 year old want ...cAke and paper to pull apart.
ReplyDeleteI was actually surprised that he didn't really want a lot to do with the unwrapping process! But oh well, he had a ball anyway, and yes he LOVED the cake!
